Hanisha Harjani is an artist/sapling at the Pratt Institute hoping to blossom into something like an indefinite clause or a plate of pizza rolls. She’s interested in writing about the realities that the objects surrounding us reveal and what our interaction with them says about our inner lives. She’s into collecting other people’s photographs and reading horoscopes when things are confusing. Some of her biggest influences are Todd Solondz, Rineke Djkstra, Basim Magdy, training videos from when the world needed training videos, David Foster Wallace, The Mighty Boosh, Hilary Duff’s Metamorphosis, MIKA, Simon Amstell, Jhumpa Lahiri, Jean Michel Basquiat and most every pre-2010 Disney Channel Original Movie.
